Most color printers work by running a carriage back and forth. But this has always been slow and prone to mechanical failure. Memjet color printheads use what we call ‘waterfall’ technology. Simply put, our 70,000 jets per printhead shoot millions of ink drops per second all the way across a sheet at once. It’s more energy efficient. It’s more mechanically sound. And it’s up to eight times faster, even faster than most black and white printers.
