What Makes A Printer Rock?

Our recent posts have talked about the thinking behind Memjet’s “Rock Your Print” campaign. This week, we’re going to take closer look at how real-world printers are transforming their organizations.

Or, to put it another way: What makes these printers rock?

A New Attitude

To start, it’s the way these printers are able to think differently. They imagine new ways of approaching the services they offer, the customers they service, or the processes they employ.

This ability to think creatively – and having solutions to support that inspiration – is what makes these printers so remarkable.

New Take on Packaging

Our first story takes us to the Netherlands, where packaging supplier Panhuijsen is bringing a new approach to customized packaging services.

Panhuijsen is no stranger to the world of packaging. The company has a long history of providing wholesale packaging materials and related equipment to customers in the Benelux region of Europe.

The company saw opportunity in pursuing a new market: servicing smaller sized e-commerce companies that require about 100 packages per year. Capturing this opportunity required a new way of thinking – and the equipment to support it.

Panhuijsen developed a plan to reach this market, and chose the Xante Excelagraphix 4200 to produce the colorful, personalized packaging they imagined.

Michiel Van Dijk, owner of Panhuijsen Packaging, says, “The Xante Excelagraphix 4200 has enabled us to expand our business by giving us a fast, cost effective way to produce colorful, personalized packaging in very small quantities. No other company could offer the speed and quality the Excelagraphix 4200 provides.”

Using the Excelagrphix 4200, Panhuijsen is able to include highly-personalized images like logos, pictures, and unique serial numbers. These images can be produced in bright colors – even on brown corrugated board.

Most importantly, Michiel Van Dijk says the organization is now more flexible and better able to capture new opportunities, noting: “Now that we have the technology in house, we are seeing more and more possibilities for our customers – and for our business.”

That’s rocking.
