A Year to Be Thankful

By: Len Lauer, Chairman & CEO, Memjet

As we get close to Thanksgiving, I am taking some time to reflect on what the past year has brought for Memjet and for the print industry as a whole.

First, I am giving thanks for the health and success of all Memjetters and our OEM partners.  We are all encouraged by the successful launch of Memjet’s newest printing technology, DuraFlex.

At events for industry press, our booth at Labelexpo, and meetings with partners around the globe, the feedback was the same: This new, affordable, high-quality printing technology will power a new breed of digital printers.

As David Zwang wrote in WhatTheyThink, “DuraFlex technology has the potential to significantly disrupt the existing toner printer market in the light production area, and as a result drive further adoption of production inkjet to continue to drive the Inkjet Revolution.”

I am so grateful for the progress the company is making with our DuraLink technology. In addition to recent enhancements we made to DuraLink, partnerships with DuraLink OEMs continue to move forward. We anticipate announcements in the months ahead.

VersaPass—and the OEM partners who use it—continues to open new opportunities in a variety of markets, powering innovative solutions and ideas, such as this direct to shape printer.

These technologies are being used by a growing list of OEM partners around the globe. I am thankful to all the OEM partners and their end-user customers, who trust Memjet printing technology to power their solutions.

The Expanding Memjet Team

This year, we expanded our team of Memjet employees, adding industry leaders in the areas of sales, marketing, OEM engineering support, ink and materials, and specialized R&D engineers. These new hires expand our global team of dedicated employees. We have worked together to make Memjet’s accomplishments happen. I am profoundly grateful for the efforts of all Memjetters and our OEM partners.

On behalf of all of us at Memjet, I wish you a happy Thanksgiving.
