Social Media Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position will report to the Director of Global Marketing Communications and is located in San Diego.


  • Develop/design, implement and manage the companies Social Media Presence
  • Partnering with internal and external resources to elevate the Memjet and OEMs brand digitally through an effective social media strategy and web optimization efforts.
  • Working with the marketing team and under direction of Global Director Marketing Communications, assist or lead in the implementation and management of appropriate digital campaigns
  • Oversee and utilize the company’s social media management platform to achieve goals.
  • Manage Wedia traffic workflow and ensure fluid communications and assets.
  • Identify tactics and techniques to contribute to building brand equity through social tactics
  • Contribute to SEO (search engine optimization) efforts including keyword research, site optimization, directory submissions, and link building
  • Use web analytics programs such as Google Analytics and Domo to measure and optimize campaign and channel performance
  • Oversee lead process in CRM (Salesforce / Netsuite) as per company’s processes and structure.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing communications teams to create content for appropriate campaigns
  • Implement surveys and other customer engagement programs
  • Partner with key departments to manage and address social media “containment” if necessary.
  • Identify, implement and maintain online marketing opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University and three or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Social Media networks and utilization
  • CRM utilization and flow – knowledge of Salesforce or Netsuite or other CRM platform.
  • Automation Tools (Pardot)
